Bebe's Buddies Medical
Meet Bebe, the brave little girl who started it all!
Back in 2008, a little injured terrier mix was brought to our shelter.
We called her "Bebe". Bebe needed hip surgery but otherwise was in great health and spirits.
Friends of the shelter raised donations for the surgery, and the Bebe's Buddies Medical Treatment Fund was started!
In this picture, Exeutive Director Karen Froehlich comforts Bebe a few days after her surgery.
Not long after that surgery, Bebe was adopted into a wonderful Forever Home!
The "Bebe's Buddies" program now helps other shelter pets on a daily basis.
