The Wine & Food Festival is our largest annual fundraiser and represents a significant portion of our operating budget.
The event: Our 1,200 + guests can taste more than 200 wines and sample food from over 20+ restaurants in a fun and casual setting. Event activities include live music; the “Beer & BBQ” tent that includes a BBQ cook-off and college games on large-screen televisions; silent auction; fun games and activities; watch raffle; and the famous “Cork Pull” where every participant walks away with a bottle of wine. Our VIP area features more exclusive and new-to-market wines, all presented with specific food pairings. And all of our guests enjoy the Red Carpet Dog Walk where some of our shelter dogs have the chance to walk the red carpet in hopes of finding a new home.
New this year: We will not have a VIP gift bag this year and will use the funds to directly save animals. All sponsorships of $2,500 and up will have the funds that would have been used on the VIP gift placed into a sponsored adoption event. The people/companies that select to be Wine and Food Festival sponsors will have their names listed and promoted as the adoption event sponsors. The number of sponsorships that are received will determine the number of adoption sponsorships that will be available to the public at the adoption event.
